First Impression #ORAL COMMUNICATION

All of us are curious of what others think about us. One may see us as jolly or talkative but others may see us as shy or demure.

They'll always vary. 

We had an activity in which we are asked to think of a word that can describe each of our classmates. We wrote it in post-its and stick it on their backs. It was hard for me to describe someone whom I just barely know so I needed to look at them twice so I can give my first impression of them. 

Some of the words that I received are "responsible", "smart", and "scary". I honestly don't know where those came from. It's quite flattering that someone sees you as that person, I mean, who wouldn't want to be called as those? There were also some hilarious words which i'm sure came from my friends. After that, Sir Haren asked me to read all the words that I received and they were all amused.

It was always interesting to know how others see us or perceive us. Although some of the words were somehow same in meaning, they still came from different people. Through this activity, we also had the chance to make someone's day by giving them compliments and positive words. I'm so looking forward to getting to know my classmates even more.
