Media

Free Media? or Controlled Media? Traditional Media or New Media? 

For this activity, we were grouped into four. We were assigned to research about traditional media and the remaining three groups were assigned to New, Free, and Controlled Media. We were later on tasked to make an output that was presented during the next meeting. 

I personally love debates but I admit that this time, I was unprepared and didn't do much research about our topic. It was hard to defend something that I was not that knowledgeable about. During the rebuttal,  most of the information were kind of repetitive and some were irrelevant and out of the topic. We threw our keypoints and at the end, our team won by one point. 

I really dislike doing group debates because some of our points were contradicting one another even though we were in the same team. Taking notes and studying about the topic well are really important when it comes to debating because it helps you stick with your topic. 

But I'm happy that this activity enlightened me about the differences between New Media and Traditional Media, and Free Media and Controlled Media.
